This Privacy Policy explains how Choices Garments & Atelier (“Choices,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you visit choi-ces.com, make a purchase, contact us, or use our Virtual Fitting Room.
Information We Collect
Store and device information. We may collect browser type, device information, IP address, time zone, cookie identifiers, pages and products viewed, referring pages, search activity, and interactions with our website.
Order and contact information. When you place an order or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details, payment-related information, and messages you send us. Payment information is processed by Shopify and its payment providers. Choices does not directly store full payment-card numbers.
Virtual Fitting Room information. When you choose to use the Virtual Fitting Room, we process the photo you upload, the selected product and variant, and optional fit-profile information you provide, such as usual size, height, chest information, preferred fit, and selected fit.
How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services.
- To process purchases, arrange fulfillment and shipping, provide order updates, and handle returns or support requests.
- To create a personalized Virtual Fitting Room preview at your request.
- To detect fraud, protect our store, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- To measure site performance and, where permitted, provide marketing or advertising based on your preferences.
Virtual Fitting Room and AI Processing
The Virtual Fitting Room is optional. When you use it, your uploaded photo and the selected garment reference are transmitted securely to OpenAI, which processes them as our service provider to generate your requested preview.
Choices does not retain your uploaded photo after processing. Generated previews may be stored temporarily by Choices for up to approximately two hours so you can view the result, after which they expire automatically.
We do not use your uploaded photo to advertise to you or to identify you.
Virtual try-on images are visual approximations. They may not perfectly reproduce garment color, graphics, proportions, drape, or physical fit and should not be treated as a sizing guarantee.
Service Providers and Sharing
We share information only as reasonably necessary to operate our business, provide requested services, comply with law, or protect our rights. Our service providers may include:
- Shopify, which hosts our storefront, checkout, customer-account, and commerce infrastructure.
- OpenAI, which processes Virtual Fitting Room requests.
- Tapstitch and other fulfillment or shipping providers, which manufacture, package, and ship orders.
- Payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, customer-support providers, and technical vendors.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect safety, or defend our legal rights.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the store functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic and performance, prevent fraud, and support advertising.
Depending on where you live, you may be able to manage these choices through our cookie controls, browser settings, or the “Do not sell or share my personal information” link on our website.
Data Retention
We retain order, customer-service, and business records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Virtual Fitting Room uploads are not retained by Choices after processing, and generated previews expire after approximately two hours.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law.

Children’s Privacy
Our website and Virtual Fitting Room are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us to request deletion.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
Our service providers may process information in the United States, Canada, and other countries. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from those in your place of residence.
